I love how this product feels on my face. It is not too light and not too heavy. It goes on really smooth with no stickiness. It is perfect under a makeup foundation. It feels like it moisturizes my skin really well without being greasy. It also fills in fine lines so it does give some extra benefit of giving the appearance of more youthful skin. The reason is it contains three different silicones: Dimethicone, Cyclomethicone, and Dimethicone Crosspolymer. I am not thrilled to use any product on a regular basis that contain silicone because I don’t think in the long run it is very good for the skin. Because it’s, um, silicone.
I really like the scent. It is a very delicate fruity/floral, but not overpowering. Even though it is an artificial perfume, it is not stinky. I find the scent very pleasant.
The only reason I marked down by one star and only gave this a 4 star is the 3rd ingredient is Diethylhexyl Maleate which is a toxic ingredient. It is rated 6 on the EWG cosmetic ingredients database.
I do like how this feels, works, and smells, but the ingredients don’t exactly thrill me especially because of the high price. I think 5 star is pushing it with my rating, but it does have some very good qualities and it is made in the USA.
I am including a photo of the ingredients. Manufacturers like Trish McEvoy should be listing their ingredients on their product page, but as Jonny pointed out it is completely hidden, not even available on their website. I hope my photo of the ingredients is helpful for you to decide if those ingredients are acceptable to you.

I ordered the cream with SPF 30, but the photo shows the cream without SPF and that is what I received. It’s very nice, very smooth moisturizer but not an essential and very overpriced. I loved the one with sunscreen but maybe it’s been discontinued or not available. The package was beaten and the box was bent, it was put in a paper envelope by Amazon and more care should be put into the shipping containers because it seems orangutans play soccer with these packages before they arrive. Not ordering high end products from here anymore, going to the high end stores where it costs the same but is packaged and handled with care.

Trish McEvoy Beauty Booster® Cream is such a disappointment in so many ways. It’s recommended for normal to dry skin to use as a cream or 15-minute mask. I have mature, dry, sensitive skin and applied this as a mask after cleansing. This cream with silicone glides on smoothly, and it seemed rich at first as my skin had an oily finish. But my skin quickly started to sting, burn and feel uncomfortable.
Witch hazel may be the problem as it’s not good for dry, sensitive skin and gets a “worst” rating by Paula’s Choice as it either has irritating tannins or drying alcohol (depending on how processed). It also has the fragrance irritant eugenol. Anyway, I managed to leave the mask on about 15 minutes and then gently removed it with soft warm wash cloth.
My skin felt soft after, but it didn’t feel hydrated and continued to be uncomfortable even with a gentle face cream. So I washed my face all over again and used a gentle, super hydrating serum and cream. My skin calmed down for the most part and didn’t get a rash or blisters. But my skin felt unusually dry and remained slightly agitated despite using gentle, hydrating products that agree with my skin. On a separate occasion, I put the cream on the back of my washed hand and my hand was stinging and burning right away. I won’t use this product again.
I dislike other aspects of this cream too. It has a bad chemical smell that I assume is from added fragrance and chemicals. This cream is a yellow-orange color, but it appears to be from yellow dye #6 rather than from effective ingredients. Also, this has nothing that stands out as special for dry skin. I’m also really put off to see this has triethanolimine (TEA), which can combine with other ingredients to create nitrosamines that pose a health risk. I dislike this cream and don’t recommend it. 2 stars. Made in USA.
