Removes makeup while cleaning my face & moisturizing. I have very sensitive skin (eczema) and it’s super-moisturizing. Love it!

I’ve always used oil cleansers, until I tried balm cleansers. They are a double cleanse in one product.
This one is great because: 1) is soft on application, and goes from balm to oil once applied on skin, 2) removes all makeup and does not sting eyes, 3) emulsifies easily to a soft lather and comes off with warm water or a warm towel, and 4) has a nice scent of eucalyptus, ginger, and turmeric (this is terrible, but the scent is a bit reminiscent of drug store cologne Jean Nate. Once you realize this, you cannot “un-realize”). 5) leaves skin moisturized and brightens a bit, and 6) does not contain wax (which can clog pores… yay!)
Cons: its a bit expensive; little spoon for scooping may get lost–keep an eye on it.

It does not remove make-up as easily as I expected. It also leaves a greasy, oily feel on my skin. Bobbi Brown cleansing oil is still the product on top of my list.

This is the best cleanser I’ve ever used. It dissolves makeup. I have no reactions to it and it leaves my skin feeling soft and never tight. I have dry sensitive skin and my eyes swell with other types of cleansers. I can use this on my eyes and it dissolves mascara.

I have been using this product twice a day for about 10 days or so. I am new to double cleansing and was using a different product from Ulta. Never knew the benefits of double cleansing and while I was using the other product, I didn’t see real results and decided to give up. However, I had seen this ginger tumeric cleansing balm all over my social media and figured, why not. HOLY COW!! My makeup melts off my face using this. It tackles even waterproof mascara and eyeliner. Put a small dime sized amount in your hand and emulsify it in circular motions all over your face and neck. Once you’ve done that, wet your hands a little and continue in your circular motion for another minute longer. Follow up immediately with your preferred water based cleanser. Don’t rinse off the oil based cleanser first. Every remnant of the days dirt, grime, makeup and whatever else is completely gone, leaving your face glowing and feeling fresh. Oil attracts oil and while you’re cleansing your face, you’re not stripping it from all of your naturals from your skin. Within just a couple O’s uses, your skin will feel so smooth, plush, bright and glowing. This is going to to be a staple in my skincare routine. By far, hands down the best oil based cleanser on the market.

A beautiful, gentle cleanser that cleans makeup off and leaves my skin so incredible soft. What a great find Im so glad I purchased it. There is a light fragrance of ginger, it’s very pleasant.
