1 star for nice packaging and hefty-sized round, triple-milled bars. If you closed your eyes and inhaled the fragrance though you probably wouldn’t guess it was supposed to be lime. Since I’m married to a Brit I hoped he’d be pleased with Truefitt &Hill…he wasn’t and neither was I. I suggest you look elsewhere so you won’t be disappointed as well.

I ordered this because T & H products have always been top notch. This was no different—I wanted a sandalwood luxury soap for the bathroom sink that left a scent on your hands after washing them. This is perfect and I found another plus that I was not expecting—the soap also provides a mild sandalwood scent in the air which is also to my liking. I love the smell of sandalwood and this does a great job. I also use T&H shaving creams—they are also great. I recommend their products highly.

I must admit I am “fogeyish” in my choice of bath products (Caswell Massey Number Six has always been my preferred soap fragrance). Trafalgar does not disappoint. It has a notes of musk, spice and citrus (among others) but is not overly scented. Lather is rich and washes away cleanly.
