This product smells phenomenal. You are going to want to eat it. I used this in the morning and at night for the first two days and noticed quite a bit of drying on my face. I do have sensitive skin. So I’m taking a couple days off and try big again only using once a day. Also, this is not a regular size soap. It’s a square that will fit in your palm. I would consider it a little overpriced for the size of the product.
Update. Mehhh for a baby sized soap at this cost with zero results. Don’t waste your money.

This soap does exactly what it advertises. I had a horrible double pimple on my left cheek. And I kept on trying to pop it. It wouldn’t dry out on it its own. Once the soap came I started using it. It has a nice light refreshing citrus scent. But not overpowering. It not only dried out the pimple, within days, maybe 4 days I noticed the spot/scar on my face wasn’t as dark. After about 8 days the spot now looks as if it’s maybe over a month old. It’s getting lighter and lighter without lightening my skin tone. It only attacks the hyperpigmentation. This soap will become a staple in my routine. And for $6?! Why not?! I’ve been using this in conjunction with my bathing net on my under arms and inner thighs. I’m hoping to see significant results by year end. Best of luck to you all. Don’t hesitate, get the soap.

It does have a citrus smell which quite different from other soaps which are flowery or lotiony or antiseptic smelling. It is supposed to be very good for the skin but I assume it will need to be used for a while to really tell a difference. My face is fine but I need a better way to apply it to my upper back and the back of my shoulders.

SO. this soap came in a little box, you get two cute little bars and it comes with an African net that you put your soap in and use to lather. I chose this soap because I was looking for something more natural to switch to since my skin started purging, and I was trying to be gentle with my skin (my face). Let me tell you— I will never go back to another soap. EVER. I love the size of it, so it doesn’t slip out my hand lol (big deal for me because I cringe when my soap hits the bathtub floor). When I tried this soap when my skin was purging super badly… I noticed my inflammation go down as I used it. My face went from being tender to the touch in some parts of my face, to me being able to be more firm with my circular motions. My skin literally went down when I was done!!! Not only that, but I like that it didn’t make my face feel DRY and CRACKED when I finished and pat dry, or air dry. I like that it didn’t turn my skin yellow (the turmeric), and I love that it was gentle, I use it everyday, and it’s really fading my dark marks!!! I have always had hyperpigmentation issues, no matter where in my body, this soap is clearing that right up!!! The only thing I don’t like about this soap (but obviously I don’t care enough about if I said I would never switch soaps again) is that it is fragranced. It doesn’t smell like your high school body mist or something, it’s a gentle smell, but I do like to try to avoid fragrance….. but I still love this soap. I would totally recommend and continue to buy!!!!
Also, for the record, I’m 24 and I have combination skin. For dark marks, this is my routine:
– double cleanse (Orien Mugwort cleansing oil, emulsify, and then follow up with THIS soap)
– Believe Beauty face toning mist
– COSRX niacinamide 15
– Good Molecules Discoloration Correcting Serum
– COSRX advanced snail 92 All-In-One cream

I’m on my first bar, so I can’t give you a long term view, but I like it. Good face soap. My skin feels fresh, smooth and moist after use. It also smells good. I’m not sure if it’s worth the money, time will tell, but I’m definitely going to order in another bar…

This bar soap is one of the best that I’ve used. The smell is great, it has a nice lemony scent, that will leave your skin and your bathroom smelling fresh. It cleanses great, doesn’t dry out my skin, at least not yet. The size is a bit small, wasn’t expecting that. I’m very pleased with this product overall.

I have sensitive skin and can’t use certain products with certain chemicals in them. Gave the turmeric soap a try….doesn’t cost much. I love it and saw positive results after one try. My face is brighter and radiant. Has a pleasant scent and suds up nicely.
