I have very thick wavy hair, just past my shoulders. After applying curl cream I used about a quarter sized amount on my sopping wet hair. Air dried in to soft bouncy waves.
I was hesitant after reviews about the scent. I have asthma & a very sensitive – it did bother me initially but the scent faded very quickly! I did not notice it at all after my hair dried and my lungs weren’t irritated.
Some reviewers mentioned the product was crunchy and flaky. I did not have this result. They may have overused.
Pros: inexpensive, soft bouncy hair, not sticky, crunchy, or flaky. Controlled frizz surprisingly well. Hair was not weighed down or dirty looking the next day.
Cons: initial is overwhelming. Too much fragrance.

I have long hair so combining it in the morning takes time. But with this it makes it easier you get nicest curls it holds in all day. Making quality value the money I paid for it. You can’t go wrong even if your hair get wet you can still feel the stickness of the Jell in your hair….. Just let dry. See your Natural curls how it bring them out again. It looks soft even blow drying will look nice and natural.

After years of trying different brands I always come back to this for my wavy hair. I have a horrible mix of 2a-2c, and this gel does the best at making them look a bit more ‘United’, without being heavy, great hold, no grease. Only downside is my hairs hip length and I eat through this stuff 😂

I’ve always just straightened my hair because I’ve never found a product that I actually liked. It either wasn’t the texture I wanted or it did nothing. This stuff is amazing. I used it for the first time today because I’m tired of all the heat in my hair. I put it in after a shower and just let it air dry. It’s actually the curliest my hair has ever been and I’m so happy with it. The bottle is bigger than I thought it would be, awesome price, smell is subtle but nice. My hair isn’t dry and crispy, it’s soft and bouncy. I love it and I didn’t need to use much of it.

I got this wanting to try out different products for my daughters. They both have different hair types. My first daughter has 3b-3c and this holds her hair very well, edges stay out all day. My second daughter has 3c-4a and it’s super coily, this product defines her hair so well and elongates it. It stays soft in her hair and keeps her hair and edges in place and defines all day while she’s able to shake it! It does flake if you add too much. Mixes well with other products. I’d purchase again!
