Why take a product everyone loved and change the packaging to reduce the amount of moisturizer while raising the price? Ursa Major’s version of New Coke, it got me search for a new moisturizer and I discovered Malin + Goetz, which I love and now I only use one product from Ursa Major when I used to use four. So yea, dumb decisions do have unintended consequences.
DASHA –
This is a light weight lotion. It moisturising and healing at the same time. It got nice texture and very natural and light fragrance. I use it in combination with face wash. I’m very happy with this purchase.

In my early 30’s, I got over the machismo that prevents many men from using products like facial moisturizers. The turning point was getting my first straight razor shave at a barber after months of having a beard. He applied this product as a finisher, and it seemed to noticeably lessen the irritation inherent in putting a blade to skin that hadn’t seen one in months. And it smelled incredible; a nice mix of earthy and sweet.
Since then, I’ve used another (cheaper) product as my daily moisturizer, but use this when I’ll be out and about for the scent. I like it so much that I stopped using cologne entirely (even though I didn’t use it much to start with). I work from home and don’t care what I smell like at the gym, so I usually get 3-4 months out of a bottle, though that’ll obviously be shorter if you use it every day. I’ve gotten many compliments on the smell, and people who guess my age tend to be 5-7 years lower than the true number, so I’d say it at least helps a bit from the skin scare side.

-Expensive.
-In warmer weather with minor perspiration, it can make my face look shiny/greasy.
