This shampoo and conditioner are amazing. I’ve tried so many natural shampoos and most of the time they have left my hair feeling greasy. I would try them for a month or so, but with each wash, I was left disappointed. It didn’t even look like I washed my hair. But then I found Ursa Major. I was obviously skeptical but after the first couple of washes, I was so impressed. My hair was soft and bouncy. It no longer looked like a giant greaseball. I love how my hair feels. I definitely recommend these products!

I purchased both the Ursa Major Go Easy Shampoo and the matching Go Easy Conditioner from her store front here in February 2024. I didn’t use them right away, but when I did I was very unhappy with the way my hair looked and felt. I haven’t used any hair products containing silicones, sulfates, sodium chloride, or any other harmful ingredients for years, so I knew it wasn’t because my hair was detoxing. When I looked at the ingredients listed on my shampoo bottle I was shocked to see that sodium chloride was listed. In fact it was # eight down from the top of a long list of ingredients, which would amount to a pretty good amount of it in my shampoo. Sodium chloride is another word for table salt, and it is known to be very drying to the hair and scalp, and can cause hair loss.
Unfortunately sodium chloride was not listed in the ingredient list that Ursa Major posted at her website or at Amazon, so I had no way of knowing that it would be included in the shampoo that I received. As a result I could not use it and had to throw it away.
I did send a message to Ursa Major about this at her website and then again by email. On March 28 I received a reply back from them acknowledging that sodium chloride was in their shampoo. Their reply went on to say “thank you so much for catching this discrepancy on our site, this is getting updated immediately”.
At this writing their “discrepancy“ of not listing sodium chloride has not been updated in the posted ingredient list at their website or here at Amazon. For this reason I’m posting a picture of the front and also of the back of my shampoo bottle showing the most recent ingredient list.

This cleans well. But it dried my scalp out and made it itch and burn. The conditioner did not help. I probably am allergic to some ingredient.

After trying multiple products to help my damaged hair, I came across Ursa Major Daily Shampoo and Conditioner on amazon. After just one shampoo, there was an appreciable difference, shiny hair with body and bounce. The scent of the products is wonderful, but doesn’t “cling” to the hair as other products do. I’m using only a light spray on my hair now after blow drying and I love the results. These are somewhat pricey, but you only need a dime to nickel size amount to do the job. I love that these are “clean” products. This set is a win-win.

This is my new favorite shampoo and conditioner! I have tried many brands including jumping on the olaplex train for a while but none of those brands made my hair as healthy as Ursa Major! I get compliments on the daily on how soft my hair is and how good it smells!! Since using this product my hair not only feels super healthy but has grown 3 inches.

These are the third bottles of this shampoo and conditioner that I’ve purchased. The ingredients seem healthier for me than a lot of other brands. Both the shampoo and conditioner have a nice clean smell. My hair looks and feels healthier after using it. I do wish there was more product for the price; especially with long hair the bottles don’t seem to last long. This is my first purchase of this product through Amazon and when the bottles arrived, about half the shampoo had leaked out! I wish I could return it because it was such a huge waste of money! I just didn’t know if I could return a leaking bottle of shampoo through the Mail? Anyway, when I purchased this shampoo and conditioner in the past, I once purchased it from the Ursa Major website and, the other time from Credo Beauty and, both of those shipments were packed in a way that didn’t leak. I can’t remember if the shampoo and conditioner from other vendors had a protective seal under the cap but this Amazon shipment did not have bottles with a protective seal under the cap. I probably won’t order this product from Amazon again because not enough care was taken with packaging, the bottles were just loose in a plastic bag, while other vendors I ordered from individually wrapped the bottles. I just can’t risk paying for a bottle of shampoo again that I do not get to use!
