This deodorant smells soooo good!!!! I gave it four stars because it does burn when you put it on. It goes on wet and it burned me until it dried. Once it dries, it lasts all day. I love the natural ingredients and the fact that it does not have citric acid in it. Honesty, when it comes to natural products, everyones body will respond differently. Something might work for you and not for someone else or vice versa. Overall, this is a good option for those looking for a clean product.

This is my first foray into non aluminum deodorant. I read so many reviews on this deodorant and decided to try it out. This product smells soooo good. Maybe a touch on the masculine side but to be honest it smells herbally and piney, very natural which I think works for females as well and I like natural scents. I don’t have sensitive skin so I can’t really say much about that topic but I never had any reaction or redness to this deo. It’s worked great. I will say I’m not someone who perspires excessively but when I workout I did notice a slight odor. But then, I just worked out so who isn’t sweaty and a bit gross after a workout? I would love my hubby to try this out, he’s concerned with the deodorant not containing aluminum. I’ll see about working on him. Hehe Overall I’m very happy with my purchase.

I had always used deodorants that contained aluminum. Despite the aluminum, they did not stop me from sweating, and would stain all of my shirts. I opted to switch to a natural deodorant, despite being a bit skeptical. I researched some of the top rated natural deodorants and decided to give Ursa Major a try, and I am very pleased with my choice. Ursa Major helps to prevent me from perspiring, with the added bonus of the pleasant cooling effect. Moreover, the scent is delightful, and much better than any antiperspirant I have ever used. I do find that I have to reapply a few times a day however, I do not find it to be an inconvenience. Although the price is a bit high, it is completely worth the level of quality one receives. Overall, Ursa Major provides a very good product that is well worth a try if one is looking for a natural deodorant.

I like the fresh scent and it has a minty quality to it. Doesn’t leave a film which is nice and does not have a over powering menthol scent to it even though it has a cooling effect when you first put it on. I don’t really sweat that much to begin with or have a problem with being stinky, but if I am going to be out and about all day or go to the gym etc. its nice to have a deodorant on that is natural and works well. Some natural products have oils in them and leave residue on your clothes or can break you out/irritate your skin. This one does not do that. I’ve tried many over the years and this is my favorite.

First let me say I hate leaving negative reveiws. I’m a firm believer that just because you had a bad experience, doesn’t mean anyone else will. I try to give the benefit of the doubt, especially with a small business. That being said, I feel compelled to write this because there are so many “natural” and less toxic deodorants now, and I have spent soooo much $$$ trying so many of them, and have found that most (like this one) are terrible. This is essentially nice-smelling lotion bar you rub on your pits. And, like if you actually applied lotion to your pits, I think it actually makes mine smell worse once I start moving.
It just stright up doesn’t work. I never expected an anti-persperant, only a deodorant that would stop me from smelling like onions on a *normal* day. (I’m not expecting any natural deodorant to work miracles for doing hot yoga.) This stuff makes me smell sooner, and worse, than if I wore nothing at all.
I let my sister try it, and she had the same results. Another big hunk of plastic being “recycled” (meaning sitting in a land fill). Maybe your body chemistry will react differently with this stuff.
For the record, Green Tidings is #1. Once I found that stuff, I never looked back. Good luck!

It caused a burning sensation and left my pits with “hot spots”. It wasn’t because I was applying too “firmly” because at the end of the day I had spots in my armpits that were red and tender. Smell is good but I can’t deal with the irritation. And I am usually pretty insensitive, just ask my wife.

First off this company seems to be using good ingredients, etc with this deodorant, but as I’ve found with other “natural deodorants” it certainly doesn’t work well. The nice smell at the beginning went away for me within a few hours and I noticed BO which is a rare occurrence for me generally… So yeah I’m glad I tried it out but if you’re looking for something that last long this probably ain’t it.

I figured it was about time I got out of the toxic deodorant game. My B.O. was nearing record ferocity after adapting my diet to (mostly) remove seed oils and incorporating good quality raw meat. Ursa Major seemed to be reviewed well so I bought it on a whim and I’m sure happy I did. Do I still stink from time to time? Absolutely, I’m a stage performer so there’s no way around that BUT this deodorant seems to control my musk more effectively than the drug store stuff. Even better than that, it hasn’t stained or ruined my stage clothes so far. It’s certainly not going to work for everyone as well as it does for me as our body chemistries are going to be different. Trial and error is a must and I certainly got lucky this time. All the best with your stink!

Simply the best deodorant I have ever used. Smells amazing, lasts all day and gets the job done with minimal swipes under the armpits.
I have used over 20 different deodorant brands over the years. Recently, I started looking into natural alternatives as I didn’t want aluminum or any other chemicals in the deodorant. It was an exhausting search. A lot of the natural deodorants don’t work. They smell great and they have clean ingredients but they last for about an hour and then wear off.
Do yourself a favour and buy this deodorant. You’ll never go searching for another deodorant again!!

I bought this for my daughter, who gets stinky! I want to make sure she uses deodorant with good ingredients. We have tried at least four other natural deodorants, and this is the only one that works!
