I bought this for use on my face to help calm and heal a severe breakout as I read aloe was a great natural healer and moisturizer. For me this really helped. After 1 use I noticed improvement and after 3 days no new inflammation and the previous breakouts were healing or gone. The only thing I used was a mild facial cleanser with an exfoliating facial sponge first, then rinsed and applied the aloe. I first want to say this is just my personal experience and opinion but if you have similar conditions maybe this will help you. I’m a middle age female adult as well to help gives some perspective and insight. I have very sensitive skin that breaks out easily and I believe my breakout was caused by wearing makeup under a covid-19 face mask in hot outdoor weather. This aloe instantly calmed and cooled my skin. Over time I could see the healing properties working as well. As for moisturizing, I would not say this is a heavy moisturizer although for me it did add moisture somewhat. You may need to use an additional moisturizer depending on your preferences. As to scent, there is no scent. If anything maybe there is a faint cucumber like scent to it but that is aloe’s natural scent. Which by the way, I love that this is so pure and natural and organic. It is so much more natural than drug store bought aloe you find in the sunscreen aisle. I tried that kind of aloe and it actually irritated my skin whereas this more natural organic form gave me zero irritation. I have since applied this when I needed to wear my mask, and so far no new breakouts. So I’m hopeful this will help calm my skin under a mask in that respect also, but verdict is still out for that. I would recommend this product and will order it again.

I ordered the Amara Organics Aloe Vera gel because I needed it in an organic natural body butter recipe I was making, & it worked really well.
Then I decided to try it as a natural facial moisturizer. I have mild psoriasis & it was beginning to appear on my cheeks. They were very red patches with tiny bumps & quite dry. Nothing I tried worked, not even the cream from the doctor. I didn’t want to use commercial facial moisturizers any more & coconut oil wasn’t helping.
I decided to try using the Amara organic aloe gel instead. It doesn’t have an odor or color & is very light to the touch. It felt wonderful & soothing on my face, but it wasn’t enough moisturizer for my skin. (Note: Just before it’s dry it will feel very sticky/tacky. Stop rubbing & give it a minute. It dries quickly & thats when the wonderful starts.)
One day I had the idea to add one drop of Ameo’s true lavender essential oil to the gel to see if it would enhance the moisturizing & calm the psoriasis, but I was worried the smell would be quite strong on my face. Well, I worried for nothing. After applying it, within minutes my face started to feel wonderfully soothed, & silky soft, & the oil smelled amazing!
The combination of Ameo’s essential oil & the Amara organic aloe gel is truly fantastic! It’s now the only thing I will use on my face. After one week the bumps & dryness were gone & my cheeks now have a soft rosy glow, not angry red splotches. My friends noticed right away & said my skin was looking great. It feels so soft & silky that I keep petting my face. Silly I know, but it’s true.
This product will forever be a must have in my home. I use it as a light hand moisturizer, after I’ve toweled off after showering to feel silky soft, after being in the sun (even without a sunburn), or anytime I want a little soothing & moisturizing for any part of my skin. It’s also awesome for insect bites! This is definitely one of the best all around, multiuse products on the market!

I’m using this Aloe Vera gel after laser hair removal. The usual gel I use has been out of stock for a while so I searched amazon and I’m so glad I did! It’s runny compared to the thick consistency of aloe gel you get in shops but it’s so much nicer! Doesn’t leave a residue and absorbs almost instantly unlike my usual gel. It really soothes my skin after the laser treatment and hasn’t stung at all. I was won over by the fact it’s organic and cold pressed. I also got a nice email from the company with information about the gel after it had arrived. It seems expensive at £14.99 but the bottle is over 200ml and will last a long time and the quality makes it good value for money. I will definitely be buying this one again when my current bottle eventually runs out!

Ich habe letztes Jahr im Urlaub wieder eine sehr starke Sonnenallergie bekommen. Betroffen waren Dekolleté, Rücken, Bauch und Beine. Da gab mir meine Schwägerin ein Blatt einer Aloe Vera Pflanze, mit der ich die betroffenen Stellen eingerieben habe. Man konnte zusehen, wie die Allergie verschwand. Doch das Beste war, dass der Juckreiz sofort weg war.
Dieses Jahr habe ich mich zu dem Kauf des Aloe Vera Gels entschlossen, da das einfacher in der Anwendung ist. Ich habe es nicht bereut. Sofort bei den ersten Anzeichen habe ich das Gel aufgetragen und die Sonnenallergie wurde sofort besser. Außerdem hatte ich mir im Bereich des Dekolletés einen Sonnenbrand geholt. Auch da wirkte das Aloe Vera Gel wunderbar kühlend.
Es lässt sich super leicht auftragen, zieht schnell ein und hinterlässt keinen klebrigen Film und ist dabei sehr ergiebig. Mittlerweile habe ich es auch auf kleinen Wunden, im Gesicht und sogar bei meinen Katzen auf Wunden probiert. Ich kann das Gel nur empfehlen und werde es, wenn es leer ist, wieder kaufen.
Inhaltsstoffe:
Das Gel ist kaltgepresst und besteht zu 99,75 % aus kaltgepresster Aloe Vera und zu 0,25% aus Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Ascorbic Acid und Xantan. Das sind alles Stoffe die für Naturkosmetik zugelassen sind, auch das Potassium Sorbate. Das ist sogar als Konservierungsmittel für Lebensmittel zugelassen, entspricht den Kriterien des BDIH.
