Got these for the shop. Very absorbant and do not feel scratchy they are soft. They clean up real easy after use. They stay soaked for a long time do to how thick they are and they are pretty big perfect for facials. The quality of the material is soft and absorbant and not the microfiber that gets stuck to your hand actual cotton towel. They won’t scratch

Très belles serviettes fidèle à la description et surtout très douces. La couleur est très belle. Comme elles sont neuves elles peluchent encore lors du passage au sèche linge mais c’est normal. J’avais déjà eu un lot en noire mais celles-ci sont sauge donc plus belles. Elles sont presque indestructibles donc n’hésitez pas. Le prix est correct voir par fois une bonne affaire.

Bought these to use as workout sweat towels. They work extremely well and are a good size. Good absorption and moderately soft. Better after washing, gets even softer. Good price and comes with many so you can grab a new one anytime.

I purchased these towels for the gym, and they are a great fit for this use. The size makes them a great substitute for a hand towel to keep gym equipment clean. On a per piece basis, they are economical, especially when purchased in one of the larger quantities. With the price the local gyms are charging for towel service, buying these instead is a much better value for me.

I’m quite satisfied, and would recommend these for anyone needing good gym towels. I can’t comment on their durability if twisted, squeezed or stretched. I use them only to frequently pat perspiration from my head and leather headphones. After arriving home, my towel gets hung to dry out, rather than tossed into a hamper while still damp.
I noticed several people here complaining about their towels unraveling and such. That made me a bit apprehensive, but the price for two dozen was too reasonable to not try, even if one or two were defective. All the new towels washed and dried just fine. Soft and fluffy, too. There was considerable lint in the dryer filter, but that’s common with any new cotton towels.
I like that they’re a bit larger than other gym towels I’ve owned over the years. These aren’t super high-quality, but they’re very reasonably priced; especially if you order 24. They’re nice gym towels, and absorb perspiration well. I buy only 100% cotton towels, mainly because they are the most absorbent. My typical workout is 90 minutes to 2 hours, so I sweat quite a bit every time.
As for being safe to use with chlorine bleach, I never use the stuff in the washing machine. Nor fabric softener, either. Fabric softener is bad for any towel, and I’ve never understood the need for bleach. They may get a bit off-white with time, but that doesn’t matter to me. As for bacteria growing on them, I’ve never worried about that either. After all, I’m not running a hospital; I just go to the gym. I do wash in warm water, since body oils dissolve above 100°F. I don’t wash anything in scalding hot water though. As I said, I’m not running a hospital!

I suppose it’s weird to be giving a 5-star rating with a title like that above, but let’s be real here; at $1.50 per towel, I wasn’t exactly expecting super-high quality. All I wanted were some small, cheap towels that I could bring to the gym with me to wipe away sweat during my workouts, and these are absolutely perfect for that type of use. My experience thus far is as follows:
I put the towels through the wash upon receipt of the package because these are cheap, black towels and I didn’t want to find myself leaving the gym to find my face streaked with cheap, black dyes. There was no discernible dye seepage while in the wash; however, I did see what appeared to be small tufts of fabric swishing around in the water. My suspicions were confirmed at the end of the cycle when I found some of the towels didn’t fare as well as the others.
Most of the towels stayed in one piece, but there were 5, or 6 towels that had these threads on the side of the towel that separated and remain attached only at the corners of the towels. So, some of the towels are basically starting to show serious wear after only one washing, but again, I bought these to wipe sweat off my face, not to impress guests/customers.
The towels are soft, much softer than the towels that my gym provides; you know, the ones that are 50% cotton/50% sandpaper? I workout hard and fast, so I sweat a lot, and these absorbed the moisture and didn’t leave my forehead feeling like it was sand-blasted for 30 minutes.
One could argue that 5-stars is high considering the wear shown by those 5-6 towels, but at $1.50 per towel they are still a deal to me. They performed exactly as I hoped they would, given their intended use, and when the time comes to order more of them, I hope that I will find this offering still available on Amazon.
