I was unsure of what I would get when I ordered this wig. I needed something quick but still have the same texture as my natural hair. A lot of kinky curly wigs do not match my texture. For those of you whose texture is a tight coily texture this wig will blend well. I was afraid mine would blend but it looks so natural. The V-Part kinky curly wig exceeded my expectations. The curls are natural-looking, and the V-part adds a touch of sophistication. The quality is impressive, and it’s comfortable to wear. Definitely a great choice for those looking to spice up their style with a kinky curly look.

I am not a wig newbie and I RARELY write reviews. First of all, the cap was huge, I’m a 21-22” head so if you have a small head this wig won’t lay flat unless you know how to alter a cap. This was technically a cheap wig so I wasn’t expecting the best quality however, I needed something quick and this came in 2 days. I cowashed the unit when I received, I treated it with leave-in conditioner and heat serum and let it air dry before flat ironing @380 degrees on my wig stand. I ordered a 26 inch wig but after straightening, the ends were thin so I cut it probably to a 22-inch w/my shearing scissors. There were a lot of red/grey “fibers” and every track had “fly aways” aka split ends. Also, I only wore it out 1 night and it kept tangling to the point where I can’t see this wig being even a several day unit. I think I might be able to get 1 or 2 more uses and definitely couldn’t wear as an everyday wig! This unit CAN NOT be human hair!!! It’s more like a blend of human and synthetic and I wish I had just bought a synthetic unit in the first place. My biggest gripe is the description states the wig is virgin hair which I knew couldn’t be true due to the price but was desperate for something quick! No disrespect to anyone but DON’T believe these reviews! Anyone who says this wig is good is either a newbie OR they haven’t experienced what a good or even DECENT wig should be like. Trust me.. Just go for a synthetic wig or save for a good wig from MyFirstWig or RPGShow! If you need a wig that will look ok for a couple days before you trash it, then this is the wig for you!

Smells like Jerry curl products though.
I washed it with Carol’s daughter curly shampoo, but it still has a chemical odour. I need suggestions on how to get that chemical smell out. Other than that…the wig is fabulous.

I ordered this unit on a whim. It arrived neatly packaged with a pink satin storage bag. It’s well constructed and has a beautiful curl pattern! The hair is SO soft. There was no chemical smell and I got minimal shedding. Great unit. Fantastic price.
Length is not accurate. Ordered an 18 inch and it looked like a 14 inch. The hair texture is very nice and soft. I’ll be returning the 18” and getting a 22”. –

Installing this wig was simple and easy. It took me no more than 45 minutes to install it and blend my leave out with it. I have kinky coily/curly hair so I was skeptical about how it would blend. But with hair mousse and gel I defined my curls and it blended right in! The hair was soft to the touch, and there was little to no shedding. Definitely would suggest getting this for on the go styling, or for beginners who would like to try a wig.

Ok this one is going to be a bit long… I’m a procrastinator sometimes, so it took a min for me to post this. Lol
This wig is amazing to say the least! I’ve been wearing this for a couple of months! I purchased this wig bc I seen someone on TikTok, that crotchet her leave part of the hair v part hair to her braids so it made it an invisible part. Well, me being me… I love natural looking styles… so I took it a step further!
1: flip your wig over, around the V part of the wig take track hair, similar to the curl pattern. I took some kinky curly hair that I had as clip-ins and used a texture softer relaxer (just for me) to loosen the curls. (Just my clip-ins) They we’re really kinky tight curls. I sewed tracks around the V part with the tracks lean towards the opening of the V part. I also sewed a small piece of track on both sides of the perimeter of the wig. I also sewed the same hair throughout the wig (2 tracks). This will give it two different curl patterns, and make it look even more natural.
2: I removed the combs that came installed into the wig. I did this because I was sewing my wig down:
3: Braid pattern: I left my edges out and some here that’s very short in the back out. Wherever you gonna put your part which I recommend the middle, do you need four braids going towards the back, but leave room for your perimeter braid. Whatever two braids out of the four that you’re using for the invisible part you want to connect those two braids together. You need to perimeter breeds that meet at the back, and the remainder hair, I braided four big braids.
4: When you’re ready to install the wig, once you put it on your head, your V part should have hair coming out of it. This is to hair you’re going to use for the invisible part. Rubber band this hair, or braid it into two separate braids to keep out of the way. You’re going to sew the wig down, but you’re going to attach the corners of the wig to the two braids that aren’t the invisible part leave out. When sewing my wig down, I pull it over the perimeter braids, and sew on top of the perimeter braid between the hair. This helps because when the wind blows you don’t see any braids. You’re going to sew around the whole perimeter. I do have to fold the week in a couple places around the ear because it was a little to big. Once you’re done, you should be left with the v part.
5: you’re going to use your crochet needle and take pieces of the hair, no larger than the crochet needle itself and pull through your braids that you left out one on each side. If you don’t know how to do this part, please look up an invisible part video. It’s very simple.
I hope my pictures help. This is definitely my go to wig and will be for a while until I reach my hair goals. I have colored my hair black to make it blend in with my roots. The hair doesn’t shed much and didn’t have any smells as well. If you comb or brush his hair, it does get puffy, but water resets the hair to its natural curl. I recommend using Care free curl activator. This keeps it nice and moisturize without being greasy. I’ve gotten so many compliments with people thinking that it was my real hair. Ladies I definitely recommend you trying it! You’ll thank me later! 😘
