This is my absolute favorite cleanser to date. I use it every night to cleanse my face. It is so gentle, and has never broken me out. I have extremely dry and sensitive skin. It does require double cleanse with waterproof mascara, but otherwise removes all my make up. I recommend this to all my friends!!

I am a guy but I do have sensitive skin. I’ve found with facial cleansers that most of the products I try I can’t use because they somehow irritate my face (most often) or sometimes I just don’t feel they are doing a good job at cleaning my mug (I have slightly oily skin). For these reasons, I have found that I always came back to the Neutragena Facial Cleanser and that’s what I’ve been using for many years now.
The Vanicream cleanser doesn’t have either of those problems mentioned above. In fact, I think it’s doing a great job for me.
Here’s why: 1) My face doesn’t react negatively to using it. It’s really the first cleanser I’ve used that I’ve had absolutely no problems with. 2) Moreover, it feels pleasant on my face while I’m using it. It almost feels like a pure moisturing cream when it goes on. What I mean by this is that it FEELS different on my face than other cleansers and in a good way too. 3) After I’m done, my face feels and looks clean. 4) There’s no scent.
What more could we want in a facial cleanser? I say this is a 5 star product and definitely worth a few bucks to try. If my opinion changers later, I’ll update this review, but right now I am very happy and I think you will be too.

Shortly after first starting to use it, I got some itchy spots on my eyelids. I didn’t think it could be the Vanicream because it’s supposed to be gentle, etc. Soon, this turned into a full face itchy rash. I continued using the Vanicream but eliminated other products, thinking those were causing it. Finally, it occurred to me that it was the Vanicream “gentle” face cleanser. As soon as I threw it away, the face rash got better. However, my eyelids are still in trouble because the skin there is more sensitive than the face. I’m still struggling to get the rash and redness under control because this Vanicream irritated it so much and caused inflammation which is hard to get under control.
I’ll NEVER buy another Vanicream product again. This stuff is garbage.

Love this! Definitely for sensitive skin! There’s no scent and a gentle formula. So nice and affordable. Would totally recommend for sensitive skin or someone looking for something affordable and that works. It also lasts a long time too.

My dermatologist recommended this to me years ago, it is the perfect cleanser, free of everything. My skin feels clean and I know that there are no dyes or fragrance left on my face when I am done cleaning my face. I would recommend if you have issues with dyes or fragrances or parabens. It is everything free and has truly made a difference in how my skin looks and feels.
