I was anticipating this duo to add moisture and softness to my locks and I felt like it just did an average job. It actually was not super smooth going through my hair in the shower and it was a little bit hard to distribute because my hair felt tangled while I was washing it. Often curl shampoos and conditioners will feel creamy and easy to distribute but that wasn’t my experience with this duo. I felt like my hair was just washed ok. It was easy to comb when I got out of the shower and didn’t feel weighed down but also didn’t feel especially moisturized. Overall this is ok shampoo and condition for curly hair and I think it would perform fine over time. Not extra special.

This shampoo and conditioner set has the most wonderful mild, creamy citrus smell. It’s supposed to be grapefruit, but smells sweeter than that. The shampoo takes a bit to lather up, but I found that it gave me enough suds and left my hair feeling very soft and conditioned. The conditioner adds to that effect with lots of good hydration. I find that my 2C wave/curls coil up better and hold longer than when I don’t use this shampoo. It offer lots of good control too, my hair holds a style easier as well. I think this is particularly good stuff for older or very dry/frizzy curly hair due to the amount of hydration it provides. My hair loves it and I’m very happy with the results.

The shampoo/conditioner leaked 1/2 the bottle of shampoo .. the bottles are NOT SEALED under the caps. The shampoo was a mess in a bag, I guess take the baggie in the shower and use that up first.
    What ??? 🤷‍♀️

I have wavy, frizzy hair that really needs a good conditioner. I have never used VERB before but had heard good things.

The orange or citrus smell isn’t my favorite but it’s actually pleasant compared to some.

My hair is smooth and shiny after using this I am a fan and look forward to trying more VERB products.

I have 3b curls so a mixture of thin and thicker strands, coarse & very frizzy. I also have A LOT of hair, which I tend to cut shoulder length to be able to keep it well maintained. I’ve tried a bunch of different types of shampoos & conditioners from ($$$) hair salons to ($) grocery store isle price range. I can never find a product that I’m happy with the scent not being overwhelming, doesn’t dry my hair and/or scalp (being sulfate-free or not), or doesn’t leave my hair feeling dirty after every wash.

These products make my hair feel very soft during aplication, rinsing, and even when it dries. The conditioner works wonders making it easier to detangle my hair in the shower. Plus at the end of every shower, I feel like my hair is truly clean and curls are bouncing. The smell of both products are great! Kind of like, idk, a citrusy smell. Not very overwhelming which says a lot for someone with a sensitive sense of smell. At last, the bottles being 32oz is amazing, it lasts me around 6-7months before having to buy again. Oh! Can’t forget it being vegan, cruelty free, and sulfate-free. Very pleased and will continue buying!! <3

This Verb Curl Shampoo and Conditioner leaves my fine, long, wavy hair soft and moisturized with less frizz. My curls, when I can coax them out, are loose rather than tight. Frizz is normally a big problem for me. This shampoo has a light delicate scent of grapefruit while I use it in the shower. It’s not overpowering, and it doesn’t last. The shampoo itself is conditioning, and it reminds me of a two-in-one conditioning shampoo. It cleans my hair well and rinses out leaving my hair feeling lightly conditioned. The conditioner is almost unscented, which I like. It feels and works like a normal conditioner. I like the feel of my hair after using these, and I’m happy with the frizz reduction. I can airdry my hair and let it be natural. It’s nice to not have to use heat styling when I use these.

This shampoo and conditioner set smells wonderful! I’ve been a fan of Verb products for a long time, and this set doesn’t disappoint. I’m all for no-sulfates shampoo, which means I can run my fingers through my hair immediately after using just the shampoo. The conditioner is nice, but I only use it about once a week. I have wavy hair, not curly, but it does seem to help my hair keep some of the wave rather than go straight immediately.

These aren’t the greatest smelling products out there. They aren’t offensive smelling but aren’t a smell I would seek out either. They don’t really work like they say they should but they do get my hair feeling clean. The conditioner doesn’t weight down my hair but also doesn’t really make it more manageable either so I have mixed feelings about it. Overall, they are not my favorite hair care products but not the worst I’ve ever used either. I would say they are probably not for people with super fine hair like I happen to have.
