This is a pretty impressive travel flat iron/curler combo. It comes with an UK & EU adaptor plugs which is a nice perk at this price point. It is nicely compact and comes with a silicone carry case/mitt which makes it easy to pack away even if it’s still hot. The flat iron & curler combo was a new concept to me & I was skeptical but it really works great – well good, it works really good for it’s size. Gotta keep that in mind – it is a small compact & lightweight unit – not a full size straightener so it is not gonna have the power of my home model. BUT for it’s size & price I think it is great. I have really long fine curly blond hair and this was perfectly adequate for smoothing out my frizz and letting me curl the ends how I like while taking up 1/2 the space in my bag as my home one. The curler bit takes a lil to get adjusted to the technique but it works good for me. It takes a bit of time to heat back up, I let it rest every 4-5 sections and it gets back to temp pretty quick. The plates and barrel are smooth ceramic that does not snag or pull out my hair. It gets plenty hot with out singeing and the argon infusion leaves my hair smooth and shiny. I appreciate that it is lightweight and has keep-cool plastic tabs at the end – makes it very comfortable to use. I think it is a great option for travel and as a backup to more traditional higher quality tools.

The hair curling iron truly surprised me with how effective and fast it is. It heats up quickly and curls my hair in minutes, making it perfect for anyone looking for convenience when styling. Initially, I found it a bit tricky to get the strands in properly, but with little of patience and practice, it gets easier. The best part is how much time you save: the curls are done quickly and the results are great. If you’re looking for an efficient and fast curling iron, I recommend this one!

This is perfect for travel or just at-home usage. I have only used it a few times as I don’t curl my hair very often (I have very boring, straight hair that can’t hold a curl to save its life). With that said, I do think it works quite well. The extra stuff they added is very handy. You get a heat-proof mat AND gloves, along with the universal plug thing. The heat range is better than any curling iron I have ever used in the past, though I do stick to the lower end as I am afraid to burn my hair off (yep, I am paranoid about that). It heats up quickly and is ready to use in mere moments. I’m impressed!

Purchased to take in our RV when we travel, so it is perfect that it is a two in one tool. Definitely saves room in a small space. Love the different temperature controls because I don’t like to use an excessive amount of heat when doing my hair. The curls come out super tight and last all day.

What I like about the VGR Travel Curling Iron, 110~250V Dual Voltage with European Plug Adapter: The Iron heats up to a max of 450 degrees which is what my hair responds to best for curls and straightening. There is an included heat mat to protect countertops plus the mat has a pocket to keep the iron safe while traveling. For those who prefer curling their hair, there is an included heat resistant glove to protect your fingers from burns and is made in such a way it can be flipped over for dual right or left hand usage. They include an instruction booklet that is clearly understandable. The iron is a dual instrument curling iron and straightener by using the push lock switch on the bottom side of the iron to open or close the straightening blades; this eliminates the need for two hair tools which saves needed space while traveling. The irons heat up fast with mine heating to the max of 450 degrees in 2 minutes 35 seconds but only seconds for the 240 degrees. The longer swivel cord keeps you from having to fiddle with an entangled cord while working with your hair. It has dual voltage for my home use of 220 voltage but I can take this while traveling to Europe next year and use the 110 and 250 voltage plug adapters while traveling. This has been one of the best irons to be able to create controlled curls and waves in my hair. It’s shorter than a traditional curling iron and straightener so I will have to adjust my habit and place less hair in the iron with each use which can be tricky if you have longer hair ( I have long hair which goes midway down my back). It’s a smaller but mighty tool.
What I dislike about the VGR Travel Curling Iron, 110~250V Dual Voltage with European Plug Adapter: There is an area on one of the flat iron plates that is gapped and catches my hair and pulls it out which is why I deducted a star. There is no way I can fix that particular issue sadly.

I like that this is a dual curling iron and straightener. I’m skeptical taking it to Europe cause I fear I’ll zap the entire neighborhood. Hope to have a positive update after my trip.
It is heavier than I expected compared to my every day use iron.

Love the curling or straightening in one piece no interchanging. Heats up fast, cools fast but the Matt/Bag are a Definetly plus. Havnt had a reason to use the international plug ins but look forward to when I do!
