I bought the product and was excited to use it. However the small mustache comb it comes with is very fragile. It broke many of its teeth within a few uses. The bristles on the beard brush are very stiff. The oil and balm on the other hand are great. They have a subtle scent of sandlewood. It all comes packaged in a small tin can with foam on the inside for protection. Great for traveling. Would have given more stars if the comb was better material.

I bought this for my boyfriend as a father’s day present and he loves it. The metal tin that it comes in, is great for storage. The smell of the product is exactly what I wanted. Not that he shouldn’t enjoy the smell too but I have to smell it as well. It’s very satisfying and not over whelming.

I bought this for my husband a few years ago as a last minute “stocking stuffer” (the man is impossible to shop for!)
He’s super particular about his beard care products so I didn’t have the highest of hopes honestly but he loved it! The scissors and brush included were excellent quality and are still used regularly. Since purchasing this kit I’ve also found the beard wash and conditioner and it’s now a staple in our house. A plus for me was the smell or lack there of; oils he’s used in the past had a weird smell to them but this product doesn’t have an obnoxious smell which I would also imagine would be great for people with sensitive skin.

Just got it the other day. I’m very pleased.
1. Beard brush. It feels great while using. The bristles are a nice tension. Loses some bristles during use.
2. Beard oil. Feels great , smells nice
3. Beard balm. Feels great, smells nice.
4. Wooden comb – has 2 sides with different widths. Combs nicely to remove little knots in Beard.
5. Scissors haven’t used yet. They seem cool.
6. There’s a little comb for mustache as well and it’s useful.
Comes in a nice case ( that would be great for travel.) I’m very pleased with the product. The combs and brush feel great while in use and the oil and balm smell amazing and feel great in the Beard and on my skin. I encourage you to pick one up. The price seems very fair. And I enjoy how the package can be traveled with.

Nice little kit for basic beard maintenance. My beard tends to dry out and feel gross, especially after shampooing. The oil does a nice job of softening my beard and keeping it feeling hydrated. My beard is also in an “in-between” phase, where it’s pretty patchy in areas, but also unruly and wiry in others. The beard balm has done an excellent job of “suggesting” which way the hairs should lay. It’s not crunchy or gross, but it has some hold. It’s made my beard look a lot cleaner and fuller until it grows in the rest of the way.
The brushes are also nice. I had never used a boar brush before, but it really is a gamechanger. Helps the hair lay the right way. I appreciated the wooden comb as well. None of the brushes/combs have felt irritating or overly abrasive on my skin. The scissors have been great for cleaning up the mustache area and any stray hairs.
My one complaint is the scent. I bought the sandalwood. Neither the oil or the balm is heavily scented (which I liked), but there is a little fragrance there. And while the scent is not strong, it does stick around for a while. It doesn’t smell bad, but it didn’t smell very good to me either. Not the best sandalwood scent, in my opinion. When it’s time to buy more oil or balm, I would probably stick to their unscented stuff. If I were to buy the kit again, I would probably try the grey kit. It comes with the same items, but the oil is unscented and the balm is citrus scented.
Overall, nice kit. It has definitely made my beard look nicer and feel better.
