After two weeks of taking this , I did notice hair growth. You have to continually take it forever to keep it up. I quit and things reverted right back. But, I’d say, yes, this works well. No side effects for me. They are very large pills (if that sorta thing is a problem for you). They have a nice “taste” if you catch them on your tongue on the way down the gullet.

I got this for my postpartum hair loss.
I was on Nutrafol prior and that is of course so expensive. I heard great reviews for this product.
Both my sister and mom have separate hair loss issues. Mom from menopause related and my sister from gastro related. They had extremely positive results from this product. Which is why I’m giving three stars.
After three weeks of being in this product, my skin started breaking out. I would feel uneasy as well. I always take any vitamins with a meal. I do have a strong stomach as well. It was almost as if I had a hormonal response to this medication. I felt exhausted every day and headaches just super weird results. Also I’ve been eating really clean resulting in pretty regular weight loss and I stalled for two weeks while on this product. After stopping, I started losing again. Even what felt like mood swings. Everything really seemed to subside after stopping this product.
I don’t think this is a bad product by any means, my sister and mother had the best results. I would never product bash either. I saw what hair loss does for women and how it affected my mother and sister. They were SO HAPPY with this product.
For me though it unfortunately did not respond well to my body and I had to stop. Thought I should leave this feedback I case any other women start feeling a bit off. I’ll have to go back to the more expensive product.

I started taking them because someone I knew was taking them. Her hair looked full, healthy and shiny. I thought because of her youth, she was abt 24 years old, but she attributed it all to these pills. She had been suffering from massive hair loss and found them. I was desperate because I also was suffering from massive hair loss, but I’m also twice her age. It didn’t matter. They worked. I also started using the Actiiv shampoo which works wonders. Together it’s a no fail combo. I notice my nails become brittle and my hair shedding increases when I don’t take the pills and that only happens when I don’t reorder in time.
I only take 1 pill daily, it’s enough plus biotin as well to help give the hair some weightlessness and bounce.

I originally gave this product 3 stars but after nearing the 6 month mark of using this supplement, I’ve added a star. This is not a quick fix but given enough time the product does what it claims. The biggest improvement is that I have far less hair shedding than I used to. In the past few weeks I’ve noticed I have hardly any hair on top of the shower drain when I wash, which used to be a solid clump every time. I was trying to figure out if it was one of my shampoos but ultimately realized the most consistent product I’ve used is Viviscal and is most likely the primary reason for the reduction in shedding. I’ve also seem improved growth in areas that typically are thinner, including at the nape of my neck and towards the top of my head where I have cowlicks.
I was hoping this product would help my hair grow faster (as mentioned below, I’m trying to grow out my hair) and it doesn’t really, but nor does it claim to have that benefit. For help with fullness, reduction in shedding, and overall hair health, this product works.
I have gone through a full 3 month course of treatment and am currently on my second order of the 3 month sized box. At this point, I’ve only had minimal improvement to my hair growth, and it isn’t something that I have noticed, but rather my hairdresser commented on new baby hairs I had growing in at my last haircut. I may not be the target audience for this product. I have short, overly processed hair that I am growing out so that I can trim off all of my bleached ends and get back to my virgin hair. I was hoping this product would help my hair growth to make the process easier, since I started this process 1.5 years ago and it feels like it’s taking forever. I did opt to place a second order for another three month supply because I recognize that it can take a while for changes in hair growth to occur. However, as of now, I don’t feel that I’ve seen quite enough improvement overall to justify the cost. I will most likely not continue to use this product unless I start to see big changes in the next three months. If that happens I will update my review.

It’s been almost 1 month since I started taking Viviscal (based on my doctor’s recommendation). Before then, I was losing lots and lots of hair–from brushing, showering, even while sitting still. I started working out with a personal trainer last June, who had put me on a severely restricted diet. 4 weeks later, I developed Telogen effluvium.
After 4 visits with different MD’s and 1 visit with an RDN, I’m happy to say that my hair loss has **started** to slow down. It hasn’t completely stopped, but at least I’ve stopped shedding hairballs like before.

This seems to be effective even though I wasn’t consistent. I noticed hair growth in front to both ears, I see fine baby hairs. Hair feels a bit fuller even though it didn’t do much to slow down hair shedding. My hair shedding is caused by my anti-depressant I take…I decreased the dose of my anti-depressant and found out that was the culprit. I will repurchase and be more consistent next time around.

My dermatologist recommended these vitamins because they are low in Biotin. Biotin makes me break out like crazy. These vitamins don’t! Ive been taking them for almost 6 months now to help with hair thinning and I am covered in new baby hair throughout my head. The only downside is hair will grow EVERYWHERE. even if you’ve had laser hair removal.
