My hair is thicker on the sides and back, but no new growth on the front/top at the hairline. I have no thinning at the crown. After 5+ months, I expected nore from Viviscal. Not sure it really promotes new growth where the hair is thinning along the hairline. I’m switching to an RX product that has Finasteride/Monoxodyl.

I just got this but the box was opened and torn. Some blister seals were torn as well. There is clear warning – Do not use if blister seal is cut, torn or broken. Very unpleasant.

This product is made from several shellfish. Many of us, including me, has allergic reactions to shellfish. The product label is not very clear on the content of the shellfish. After taking them for only 2 days (2 per day), I have developed significant swelling in my ankles, feet and below the knees. My primary care doctor checked the edema yesterday when I went for my physical. She says the edema has nothing to do with my heart or other medical conditions. I refuse to take anymore of them. Please, whether you are male or female, and decide to try these, please use extra caution. I would hate to see anyone suffer from the swelling in the lower extremeties from this OTC that is not properly labeled.

Let’s face it……loosing your hair sucks. Embarrassing , and kinda private. But I bought the women’s formula and patiently took it for months:

I grew hair after about 3 months I started noticing hair growing. Not to mention my hair was getting thicker too
Where was I growing hair?……..well, kinda in a lot of unexpected places as well as my head.
My arms, eyebrows, legs…….yes. You kinda get hairier.
So because my interest waned after a year, I stopped. And in 2 weeks it all kind of started falling out. Nothing like a before and after on your head will seriously show and feel the truth.
So, I shaved my head and went full on military.
So, long story, 10 years later, I’m back taking it again.
After 6 months of consistently taking it morning & nite my hair is doing pretty good again.
This probably will not land you in a shampoo commercial. But as we’ve come to be suspicious about reviews, (at least I am) I’m a normal dude letting you know…….this stuff works.
It’s not a $15K hair transplant in a bottle either.
But I’m taking it for life now……I mean, why not?

First I’d disclose I’m not bald but my hair is thining. Has been at the crown since my late 20s. I’m now in my mid 30s and while it’s still there it is thinking to where I can see more and more scalp.
My prior dermatologist prescribed me Propecia but I never took it after reading the side effects. I tried Rogaine foam for close to a year but lost way more than I gained. I got a new dermatologist and he said both routes prior don’t work for everyone but he recommend this product. I purchased it as I am usually a fan of vitamins and this so far for 2 weeks has definitely made some improvement. My hair has not grown back by any means but it feels much more volumetric and full. I.e. healthier I definitely feel that on my entire head. So I have this product 5 stars. If it can do that in 2 weeks imagine what it can be do 3 months
