It cleaned my retainer well, and I have recommended it to friends. After a few months, the cleaning process seemed to take longer, and the sound of the ultrasound became louder and lasted longer. One day, it stopped working, and that came well before the one year mark. I treated this unit with great care, and I am greatly disappointed that it would serve me for such a short time.

I bought this last year during prime day. Since then I’ve used it near daily for my retainer. It started acting a little weird a few months ago, basically it would run as soon as it was plugged in and not when I’d pressed the button. Today it wouldn’t run at all and I’m pretty sure it’s dead. Maybe it’ll work if you only use it once a week or month but this was very disappointing. Do not recommend.

3/14 Update. I was able to contact the seller. Once notified of the failure, they immediately sent a new unit to me. It arrived today and I’m very happy. The unit is working extremely well. Based on their response, I’ve updated my review and would recommend this product. I use it for my appliance and it makes it makes daily cleaning and sanitization very easy.
I do not recommend this product. I purchased in March 2023. The product worked well for 6 months. This past fall, intermittently the unit would not start when pressing the button. In Feb, the unit died completely. The description claims a “worry-free 12 month” warranty. But there is no customer service phone number or other information provided to back up this claim. My advice, save your money, don’t make the same mistake I did. Do some research and buy a better, higher quality ultrasonic cleaner.

As with most of the other reviews here, my product stopped working despite the device showing power when plugged in. Writing a 1-star review seems to be the only way to initiate a refund/replacement, as no contact info is readily available on the internet despite the product page clearly advertising support with issues within 12 months of purchase.
Based on my experience and seeing other reviews about the UV quality, I would spend your money elsewhere.
I will improve the rating based upon my customer service experience.

Had this for a few months with no issue. I use this for my retainers with a tablet to clean them. Just drop it in pour the water and it’s cleaning. Very Effective, small doesn’t make a lot of noise. So easy to use for the price. I love it! Best purchase

I like that this device is compact and easy to set up and use.
The instruction manual was to the point and really clear.
The night it arrived I popped in my retainers which were in desperate need of an ultrasonic cleaning. I ran the retainers through the device three times the first night, adding a drop of dish soap each time. The device helped remove some of the yellowing on the retainers and removed a dramatic amount of plaque buildup, especially on the first go-round.
Today I continued using the device and ran my retainers through it one more time, which dislodged more of the plaque buildup. I also soaked my retainers in a separate glass in efferdent before rinsing them and using the device again. The retainers are not yet plaque-free, but I will continue using the device, using efferdent, and using my toothbrush (has never had toothpaste on it) to clean the trays.
Next I cleaned some jewelry, carefully following the instructions for the type of jewelry allowed in the device. It did a great job on the jewelry. Everything sparkled.
The one thing I don’t care for on this device is the lid hinge. It is not sturdy, and I know I’ll need to take care not to hit it on anything while the lid is open because it will break.

But:
– it was very poorly packed (a wonder id did nit fell out all together)
– it comes with a US power cord!!! No european plug!!! So I had to buy an additional plug adapter 🙁

This little miracle machine took my old, grungy retainer and turned it back to almost new! After the first time running it, I saw a big difference! It took a little while of me running it at least twice a day, but like I said, it is back to beautiful! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone!

The amount of misinformation in these reviews is just astonishing, so I’m going to take one for the team and give a real deal review, and why I would not recommend this product, so YOU know, what you’re buying.
To summarize, UV-C is VERY DANGEROUS, it will kill most things, it can also penetrate through your skin, it will cause burns (under your skin), re-arrange your cells and DNA, etc… but the good thing is that the Earth’s atmosphere blocks out pretty much all of the UVC rays coming from the sun. Not surprisingly, it kills everything because most things on earth are never exposed to it, hence why the 99.99% disinfection. Us humans love to create things that kills stuff.
Luckily, you can buy UVC detectors (on Amazon too) where you can see whether or not your device actually has UVC. Here in the pictures you can see one of my true UVC lamps (very harmful) where it actually activates my UVC card *hint: it’s the neon glowing logo right above “UVC” on the card”. However, THIS device does not product UVC, it should be the wavelengths of UVA and UVB, which is why you can see the left side of the card “charging”. If I leave it for longer, it’ll change purple.
But regardless, UV-A and UV-B, though has some microbial properties, is not going to kind of microbial effectiveness as UV-C, so as long as you understand that by buying this, you’ll only be killing “some” bacteria, rather than 99%, I guess this product is good for you.
However, I do not understand how this product is rated as highly as it is amongst all of the UV ultrasonic cleaners, when you literally buy many disinfecting products with UV-C, so, there really is no excuse on why this product doesn’t have the good stuff. I prefer my items 99.99% disinfected, not ~50% disinfected.
