These things are great and a time saver I wouldn’t use anything else, I like them more than the Andis Magnetic ones. I use them on Wahls strictly (Senior and Magic Clip) and cannot attest how they will work on other brands.

So I rarely ever do reviews, but I had to for these Wahl clipper attachments! I never knew there were different quality guards until my new Wahl clippers came with three like these in this organized set.
They are amazing I have used only Wahl for everything clipper cut related.
These guards have thick soft plastic teeth that are rounded and cupped more to scoop and grab all of hair, they glide very smooth and have a really sturdy good feeling, literally make a huge difference when clippering
ALSO it comes with a 1/2 and a 1.5 guard…… awesome for blending fades!!!!

I have a set of Wahl professional combs I have been using for many years. The Wahl professional comb set does not come with ear tapers, so I decided to purchase this set which appeared to be an updated set of full combs plus the taper combs. What I received was something that can’t be seen in the pictures. The original set of professional combs are a sturdy composite material that has been incredibly durable. I have had no breaks or issues after many years of hard use. These new combs have an identical appearance including the metal clip. The cheap plastic (not composite) these are made of is absolute garbage and will break (as others have mentioned). I’m shocked Wahl would put their name on these obviously cheap knockoffs. To their credit; after receiving the items and reviewing the title and description, it did not say anywhere these were the professional line. My mistake for falling for their cheap bait – and – switch tactics.

I have had my Wahl 5 Star for something like 10 years and I have always used the plastic guides. Did not know these nicer guides existed. Now that I have them I can say that they fit very snugly. The sizes are accurate and the value you get by cutting your own hair is incredible. There is no noise or rattling when installed. Now I just need them in sizes 9 – 12.

I have an older 7 year old corded magic clippers.. it didn’t fit well and snap off on its own. But it clips on great with my newer wireless senior wahl clippers.
