If I had one complaint about this product it’s that it’s expensive. The Andis razor is a fraction of the price and works almost as good. However I bought this product because I wanted the best and I got the best. So 5 stars! I also want to add that I’ve noticed in some of the reviews people saying the razor doesn’t cut at all I feel like these people do not know how to use it. This razor is specifically for shaving stubble it will not cut long hair in any noticeable amount. It’s hard to explain in a review but I strongly suggest you watch a YouTube video about how to use a razor like this before purchasing one.

I have used Remington foil shavers for years. (I am 53 years old with very sensitive skin). I left Remington when everyone went to those nasty rotary shavers. This shaver works great for daily shaving on beard and head. Baldies and folks with curly ethnic hair will love this shaver. It takes a shave or two to get tuned in but it rocks in no time. The Wahl brand has always treated me great so I though I’d try it. I can’t speak for long term but I can’t wait to use this shaver daily. Wifey thinks I am crazy. I used to shave every other day at most. Now I use it daily. I use the regular foil daily. I use the close foil to “sexy” it up for the wifey. 🙂 Will update review if anything changes.

Works very well! I use it to keep the stubble on my scalp down and don’t get any razor burn. Must use it with hair that is already trimmed very close to the scalp or fresh growth stubble. It doesn’t work very well on stubble that is a touch too long. Worth the money!

This razor has an unexpectedly close shave – I use it to shave my head once every day or two. It shaves as close as a blade. I’m not sure if it’s the specific foil I have not fitting correctly or the razor in general, but it (1) drops hair all over me as I’m shaving and (2) occasionally cuts me.
The finished product is the best electric shave I’ve ever had, every time, but also a bit irritating.
I’m hoping to try with another foil and give 5 stars.

I have been a fan of the five star series from Wahl for many years but this model of shaver is disappointing. It doesn’t cut very close to the skin at all and is very noisy for a “ professional “ product. I don’t recommend it honestly due to the high price and lack of performance.

This is the best electric shaver I’ve ever own in my life…Shave your skin like a pro every day, or every 5 days… doesn’t matter, the shaver will do the job perfectly. I’ve also bought the charging case because i travel a lot and i can shave myself during more than a month without having yo recharge it….Best backpacking companion!!

The gold foil guard that came on it has already torn off. My husband has only had it for about 3 weeks! Also, the battery life isn’t all that great. He keeps it plugged in because it only gives a good shave for about an hr before it starts to slow down

I was very excited to use this shaver to cut my husbands hair. To my dismay this shaver does not work. At all. Unfortunately I’ve waited just beyond the 30 day return window so I’m stuck with it. Too bad it won’t even cut hair, even just a little bit. Hard to believe I spent almost $80 on this piece of junk.

I replaced a Panasonic with this. This Wahl is much better. Closer shave but those with sensitive skin might not like it.
