Beginner with the wax bead thing. I have done the traditional waxing with strips and hated it. It’s messy, time consuming and just a pain. I was hoping the wax beads would be a lot easier. It is definitely easier but not as great as I had hoped. First, I think the actual warmer is great. It works well and is easy to use. The temperature is easy to adjust and the digital display is easy to read. The quality is decent and it actually looks pretty nice. My only complaint would be that the cord is short. It also has the 3 prong plug with the grounding wire so it can’t be plugged into a standard extension cord.
The other thing I realized was that there is definitely a learning curve! It takes a little practice and the hard to reach places can be challenging. The results for me were somewhat disappointing. I suspect part of the problem is the quality of the wax beads. This was my first time using the wax beads so I don’t have anything to compare it to but it did not work as well as I had hoped. It didn’t work on the more stubborn hairs another some of the finer hairs. I found that I would have to do some areas more than once, which is not recommended and even with the second application, there were still a lot that didn’t come out. I wasn’t crazy about the smell either. It was horrible but I wouldn’t say it was pleasant either. I plan to try different wax beads and see if it works better.

I’ve been waxing for 6 years through an aesthetician. But when I travel for more than 3 weeks I usually panic because of my regrowth. It’s been 5 weeks in my current vacation with 4 more weeks to go and I started feeling desperate so I went online and watched several dozen videos and decided I’ll attempt it again.
Now I’ve done the nad’s at home strips and other brands strips that needed to be heated up but this is my first wax pot and I am pleasently surprised if the ease to use it.

It’s easy to use and less mess than the old one I used until it quit working. I had to use cloth strips with my old waxer. With this new waxer, the wax beads are awesome, they melt easily and it’s easy to spread the wax on with the sticks provided. Once the wax dries just pull it off and the hair is gone. The old waxer I had for 6 years didn’t always take the hair off on the first try and I had to repeat the process. The price was very reasonable too. I definitely recommend this to anyone that’s looking to start waxing at home. Two thumbs 👍 👍 up!!
