These are basically a strong board wrapped in satin-like fabrics. There seems to be a wire in the center for a bit more support. Because they are not made of plastic these can be bent and easily stretched for comfort at the ear. When bent the fabric will crease and the glued fabric will show stress creases. If you just want a pretty, simple, lightweight and slightly alterable at the ear headband then these are a great option for the price. I wouldn’t get them wet or near heat as I do not think they would fare well.

I’m having shoulder surgery and won’t be able to style my long hair or put it into a ponytail. I’ve always hated headbands because the squeeze my head giving me a headache. I love these because it feels like you are wearing nothing on your head while keeping your hair out of your face. I highly recommend them for people who have issues with headbands squeezing their heads. They are delicate, so I’m not sure how well they will hold up if you wear the same headband every day, but there is a large variety so you can switch it up.
