I tried the wella professionals ultimate repair mask, with AHA and Omega 3s, 2 times a week for two weeks.
I live in a dry climate and am exposed to chlorine and solar radiation on a nearly daily basis, resulting in damage that looks like split ends, frizz and dullness.
I was interested in these products as they are treatments that sit on the hair for longer than other things.
The mask has a thick texture that tuens a bit watery on wet hair. There is great slip, making it easy to detangle. It does have a strong “salon” scent, not sure how else to describe it.
Fresh with a hint of “oh I should definitely not get this in my eyes or mouth”
It rinses well, and my hair feels moisturized and nourished for several days after use. I notice more shine and less frizz.
These worked okay for me, and I’d guess would do more on more severely damaged or chemically treated hair. For me, I don’t think the effect justifies the price. It’s good to have on hand for touch ups though.
