I love watermelon everything and was so excited for this balm! The scent is great, the glide and color-change on the lip is superb. But the FLAVOR 😖 It’s extremely bitter and gag-inducing!!!
Mind you, I’m not trying to consume lip balm, but you know a little bit gets in your mouth when you eat/lick your lips etc every now and again… this formula makes me shutter to think about. At this time, this product is NOT something I will reach for or put on my face unless they change the formula to a neutral tasteless balm or perhaps….watermelon flavor???

This comes in cute packaging, has a great smell, and glides on smoothly. BUT-what about this pH color claim? I applied on my bottom lip only to see the color difference. Even at 15 minutes there was zero difference. Plus it tastes horrible. So, fun lip balm but I can purchase less expensive ones and be just as happy.

$16 dollars for lipgloss might sound insane but I will tell you this product leaves your lips feeling so moisturized and soft while giving you a natural pink tint! I recommend

I have several other Winky Lux lip balms so I thought I’d give this a chance due to loving watermelon. The tube is cute and convenient as it fits well in pockets. It smells great and the sweet watermelon flavor is nice. HOWEVER, it has a horrible bitterness that goes all the way back of the throat. The bitterness is so bad that I can’t use this! I can deal with a little bit of bitterness, but this is overboard! I would stay away from this one!

I’m not sure if I’d truly call this a lip balm (it’s more like a gloss than a Chapstick), but I do have nice things to say about it.
Used alone, it leaves a faint pink shade on your lips, which looks slightly different on everyone because it’s pH-driven. Used over a matte lip color or a lip stain, it works more like a gloss.
There’s a subtle watermelon scent, but it won’t mess up drinking or eating.
