  1. SK203

The product itself is pretty good. The quality is perfectly fine, it is in a convenient form for travel, and the reservoir’s cup-like shape makes it easy to clean. There’s nothing particularly outstanding about it, but it’s good for the price. Highly recommend the product, plus the support helps if they can. If you’re out of your warranty period though, you’re not getting much help other than a suggestion to buy another one with maybe a bit of a discount, which is what I’m doing after it dying a little over a year after purchase. Not sure if it got damaged during travel or it just decided to stop working.

    Pros:
    -Easy to use
    -Quick to charge
    -Easy to clean
-Compact and easy to travel with
-Has plenty of attachments that most people probably wouldn’t use

    Cons:
-Pressure feels a little weak to me, but it’s strong enough to get the job done
-Pressure decreases along with battery life
    -Charging cable is fairly short
-Only lasted a little over a year for me (might have been from travel damage)
    -Pump can’t be bent

I know the cons list seems as long as the pros, but honestly the flosser definitely works well in general and for travel that I just think it’s worth getting. Like I said, I’m buying a second one since my first one broke and this one still seemed better than alternatives.

Very good quality item, battery is good quality and holds a charge for a long time at least enough for a week or two depending on how much you like to brush your teeth. Overall made from durable materials and very portable. Very powerful and easy to use and truly worth the price.

Travel size but performs just the big ones.
One fill of water is enough to clean and irrigate your tooth well.
I have charged once and uses daily. Its now 2months and battery is still good

Very nice, slim small fits my petite hands. Simple yet effective and easy to use. The tips are turnable all around with fingers (ie not the nozzle type which would be easier to maneuver). After some practice, 1 cup should be enough to clean full mouth. The Soft mode fits me good, strong enough. Like this design a lot, definitely portable with solid pretty case. Incidentally I bought some extra plaque seeker tips from another brand sold here thinking of matching to my old flosser, and they happen to fit this flosser too!!!! so happy !!!! See one of the pics here for your reference ( 4 tips). Like the plug at the bottom so not too close to the top area where water would come by very easily. Want to get the black color one too as a back up. I would recommend this as a good alternative if you want. I also bought the other version by the same maker on this same order, the blue one in the pics – a bit bigger, similar design but with a screw on/off bottom plastic cup (this pink one is a silicon bottom cap; just push in), the tips is only 180 turnable and are screwed into the flosser. Have not tested the blue version, and it looks good, but I personally like this pink version better bcz it’s so sleek light simple pretty yet as powerful as any others I have been using. They all came with USB cable only, no plugs.

This machine is great it’s very practical easy even with short traveling!! I can’t remember when last time I charged it up to 3 months. I dragged with me everywhere honestly

I think this is an amazing product! I purchased this 18 months ago and have used it everyday since. I only use it at night. It does exactly as it should, better than name brand versions, has excellent battery power, is extremely compact and highly efficient in design for everyday as well as travel use.

COMPARISON TO OTHERS—-First off, over the years, I have owned MANY water flossers including multiple full-size standing waterpiks of various models, some at the same time and some as replacements. I’ve owned the battery operated name-brand waterpik to other off-brand travel versions. This works FAR better than the battery powered name brand waterpik and honestly, very similarly to my full-size waterpik models. It was worlds better than any other off-brand version in both power and compact travel design. I currently own a full-size name brand waterpik and I never use it anymore because this travel version works just as well and is just SO much easier to use and keep clean.

TRAVEL—-In terms of the actual travel aspect, it’s EXCELLENT! I have yet to find anything that packs as small as this does while having everything you need sanitarily self-contained (except for the charger). I owned another version that didn’t fit in itself and had a far smaller water reservoir. It was a huge pain. This is extremely compact, the device fits into the water reservoir, twists shut, and also holds the tip in an enclosed part of the device so it stays clean. All parts are contained and have silicone flip-covers so nothing is exposed. The “hose” is rigid stainless steel so it can retract inside the device. The engineering and design behind this device is pure genius. I’m not too concerned about not having the charger packed within it bc it uses a standard usb-c and I always pack one of those cords with my electronics anyway.

POWER/EFFECTIVENESS—-This is FAR better than the battery operated WP travel version and just about as good as full size versions. Over the years, I have learned that the effectiveness of a water flosser in cleaning food from teeth has just as much to do with the amount of water it can hold as it does with the actual power and pulsation of the device. This device has a sufficiently large water reservoir, surprisingly large for a travel item, such that I do not ever find the need to have to refill to get a full clean (which I have had to do with many other travel versions). It also pulses at a high speed, just as high as a waterpik, so that it is comfortable on your gums. Others I have used pulse in a manner where you can feel the pulsations. This is very ineffective and can be painful. This pulses so quickly that it feels like a stream even though it is not. The pulsation is an important key to an effective water flosser. If it does not pulse, it doesn’t clean as well. At the highest setting, it is about a medium setting of the full size WP and this is plenty for my purposes. If you need a higher setting, this might not work for you.

CONS—- There aren’t many cons for me but as mentioned, (1) it doesn’t get as high in settings as a full-size WP but it is plenty powerful and definitely the best in terms of power-to-size ratio. (2) The hose is rigid so when the water gets low, you can’t really tilt it or it won’t pick up the water. The rigidity is the key to allowing it to pack right since it can retract so I don’t really think it’s a con. (3) it’s not the best at letting you know when the battery is low. I had a different (much worse) travel flosser that would start green, then turn purple as the battery runs low, then turn red when it was critically low. It did something similar as it charges so you know when it completed charging. This device changes to a red color when low on battery but by the time it does this, you’re getting pretty weak flossing power so it’s not telling you anything you didn’t already know. It also blinks as it charges but otherwise doesn’t let you know when it’s complete. It could be a tad better in this respect but these are just nit-picking things. I otherwise love this device and don’t care much about these things.

RECAP—- Don’t hesitate or worry. This is an awesome device. (1) This has a larger water capacity (I can do all teeth on one fill at high power), (2) is battery operated and the battery lasts a long time (with everyday use, I charge about once a month), (3) it packs very compactly in a smart way, (4) it comes with a good amount of attachments, and (5) it is cheaper and better than the name brand or even other inferior models. FYI, mine did NOT come with a pouch or carry case though some pictures may show it and I didn’t get anything for this review.

Stopped working after 12 months, very disappointing as was working very well until then.

I have used two other water flossers in the past under a well-known manufacturer’s name. Both were battery operated and lasted less than a year (and, I did not use them on a daily basis – don’t tell my dentist that). After some research, I decided to purchase this product in spite of the fact that I didn’t see it listed on any of the websites comparing top portable water flossers (disclaimer – maybe it is listed on a website I didn’t read).

I received it yesterday afternoon and used it for the first time today and am amazed when comparing it to my earlier purchases. It was back ordered when I first purchased it but arrived sooner than the date I was initially given. Upon opening the packaging, I found the flosser is be sleek in design, appears to be very well made, and includes a hard shell carrying case and 5 different tips compared to the one tip from my earlier purchases. It is esthetically quite attractive and has a small footprint for easy packing when traveling. The included directions are easy to follow although the pictures of how to set it up on Amazon are even easier.

Now, for the actual use of it. I filled it with warm water, turned it on, and sprayed my mirrors all the way to the ceiling. The good thing about it is that I obviously don’t have to prime this machine as I have had to do in the past. The bad thing is I now have drip marks on my mirror that I can’t reach without a step ladder. I then held it upright with the dental pick pointing to my teeth. I turned it on and was amazed at the amount of water pressure it had – again, much more than my previous ones. I felt it necessary to fill the reservoir twice but it was easy to do. I do like the retractable metal as opposed to plastic tube that goes inside the water reservoir.
Now, with just a couple of minor complaints. The different mode buttons are flush with the casing of the instrument. As a result, it was difficult to adjust modes while using the flosser without first turning it off or trying to change modes while it was running (again I was left with another wet mirror. The distance the water traveled was amazing – great psi! RI realize that raised buttons would not be practical since the water reservoir fits over the machine but perhaps, if the buttons were spaced further apart, it would be easier to know which one I was pushing. Secondly, I had to use a nail file to pry open the little rubber door that holds an individual pick. Perhaps that will loosen up after I have used it a few times and was such a minor inconvenience that I probably didn’t even need to mention it.

All in all, my initial impression is that this is a great addition to my oral hygiene (not sure I want to use the nose-pick) at a very affordable price. I hope my dentist will think so, too , when I see her next.
