I’ve tried various products to reduce the shine on my bald head, but this is the ONLY one that really works. It very noticeable reduces the shine. The only reason for the 4 star rating is that it leaves a residue on your head that feels kind of weird. As soon as I get home I wash my head to get this stuff off. If you can live with the residue feel you’ll be pleased with the results.

Best in class! Best in its category. Outstanding performance, above and beyond. Not only does it remove the shine It also prevents perspiration. I sweat, starts with little beads on my head, and usually above my lip. One day I felt it above my lip, looked in the mirror and to my amazement I had no sweat on my head! This is one of those must haves. One of those products you tell yourself what will I do if they ever discontinue this.

This stuff works! Though a bit pricey, it does help reduce the shine on your head! If you want complete “matte”, just simply apply as needed.
I do wish they provided samples for those that are on the fence but it does work.
It’s made of natural ingredients so that’s a plus!

I’ve been looking for something for my head for a long time to stop the shine and nothing has ever worked for me. I’ve tried many matte products and this is by far the best I’ve ever used. Instantly stops the shine and stays all day. Please don’t ever stop discontinuing this product.

I’ve been bald since my brother came home from bootcamp with naught but a few hairs left and his drill sergeant apparently told him he was “holding on to a dream”.
Didn’t really have a problem with a shiny head until I hit my thirties, for whatever reason. This does the trick almost instantly. It lasts for a fair amount of time as well, I’d say 4-6 hours at least for me. But… the price for the amount you get? I mean sure, I’m not using it daily and it doesn’t take much, but forty bucks is forty bucks is gas money.
Glad I have it for when I want to clean up all nice and good, but probably not buying it again.

I never write product reviews but this stuff works so well I felt compelled to. Cuts the shine very well, easy to use and not messy. I thought it was a little expensive but a little bit does the job. I have been shaving my head (razor) for over 20 years now. My head always had a shine to it (even after a shower with the skin being clean and oil free). I naturally have an oily scalp even after a few hours of showering. I have tried a baby type powder, oil absorbing lotions, and even a scalp lotion that was to apply a matte finish to the scalp. Nothing worked for me to my satisfaction. Certain lightning made my head glow!
I decided to give this product a try. i have been using this for approximately 2 weeks now. Let me tell you – I wish I had this years ago!! This works fantastically!! A small amount goes a long way. This product does exactly what it’s intended to do! My head has zero shine instantly upon application and lasts for hours (at least 4 or 5 hours). I feel confident now that I am not a beacon of light! There is hardly any smell to the product at all. I read other reviews here about the smell and I do not agree. I am using the 2.0 version so I am not sure if the original formula had more fragrance, but I have no issues. The only thing that I can say that does not make this product completely perfect is the feeling on the skin after this is applied. The skin has a strange feeling to it. Not really greasy but you know that a product has been applied. I really can’t say anything bad at all. My fear is that this will be discontinued at some point in my life. Maybe I should hoard some! haha. I will order another to keep at work or in my vehicle just in case I want to apply more when I have a long day. Give it a shot as I do not think you would be disappointed.
